Bluetooth Built-In + Pandora Control
The most important thing for most people today is, "Does it have Bluetooth?" Yes, the Rockford Fosgate PMX-3 comes with Bluetooth streaming capability. You can't take phone calls via Bluetooth (not that you would want to), but you can play your music
from your phone. In addition, this unit has Pandora control. You can connect and select your favorite Pandora stations from the radio instead of having to fumble with your phone.
50Wx4 Peak Output
The PMX-3 comes with a built-in, 200 watt peak amplifier. This allows you to connect up to 8 standard marine speakers, directly off of the head unit. Although we typically recommend external
amplifiers for marine stereos, you don't need one with this head unit.
IPX6 Rated
The PMX-3 is IPX6 rated against water intrusion. The unit itself is splash proof, you just can't submerge it in water.
The rotary volume knob and the pushbuttons on the front can all get wet without having to worry.
Backup Camera Input + SiriusXM Ready
The PMX-3 comes with a camera input along with a reverse trigger wire. If you are installing this unit in a UTV, or if you decide to add a camera to the back of your boat. You can set up the PMX-3 to switch to the camera input when
you are in reverse. In addition, the PMX-3 also comes SiriusXM ready. The tuner is not included, but if you can add a SiriusXM tuner and listen to your favorite SiriusXM stations without needing a separate radio or interface.
2 Zone Output
For outputs, the PMX-3 comes with dual zone output with a front zone and a selectable, and rear/subwoofer zone. You use the radio menu to tell the radio whether the rear output is for rear speakers (full range) or for subwoofers. When the rear
input is set for subwoofers, you can use the front subwoofer control to quickly adjust the subwoofer level without needing an external bass knob for your amplifier.
Made for iPhone Certified
This unit is certified to work with iPhone. You can connect your phone directly to the PMX-3 using the USB connection and control your iPhone through the radio while also charging your phone.
