Polypropylene Cone with Rubber Surround - Althought this isn't a true marine subwoofer, the cone material and rubber surround will not be damaged or impacted by water. But, if you keep your boat in dry storage, you don't really have to worry.
Requires an Enclosure - The Kicker Comp Q subwoofers need to be installed in an enclosure. Sealed volume between .66 - 1.25 cu. ft. and ported volume with 2.25 cu. ft. and a 3" x 11.25" port that is 18" long.
Dual 2 Ohm Voice Coils -
- 1 subwoofer can be wired to a 1 ohm or 4 ohm load
- 2 subwoofers can be wired to either a 2 ohm load
- 3 Subwoofers can be wired to a 1.33 ohm load
- 4 Subwoofers can be wired to a 1 ohm load
