We offer loaded enclosures for boats that are marine grade as well as standard, car enclosures. The right one for you will depend on the type of boat you have, where you store it, when you drive it, where you drive it, and how much water actually gets in your boat when you take it out. The Wet Sounds Stealth subwoofers come with an amplifier built in, the JL Audio M6 enclosures feature a full, marine-grade fiberglass enclosure. The Kicker TB series tubes are true marine subwoofers as well and offer both horizontal and vertical mounting options. All of the other subwoofer enclosures are made from wood and are technically car enclosures.
If you are thining, "Why would I buy a car enclosure?" The reason is price. You can get a great enclosure and depending on the style of your boat, put it under a seat cushion where it should stay dry, put it in the storage area of the bow if you have a closed bow boat, or put it down by the driver's feet where it shouldn't get wet, or at least too wet. You can get some really nice woofers with great output for a lot less if you can keep your subwoofer dry and out of the sun.
